Cheese straws

1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese1 stick margarine1/8 tsp. red pepper2 cups plain flour1 tsp. salt
Grate cheese. Cream cheese and margarine together. Gradually add flour, salt, anjd pepper. Put mixture through cookie press. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overcook. Cool well.
(If you don't have a cookie press, you can roll into small balls, then, press flat with a fork.) makes 24 "straws" - two straws per serving.
