Slow Cooker Venison Roast

2-3 lb deer roast1 Tbl.salt1 Tbl. pepper1 Tbl. garlic powder1 Tbl. onion powder2 beef bouillon cubes crushed1/4 cup flour1/4 cup vegetable oil2 cloves garlic minced.1 large onion quartered1/4 cup water1/4 cup balsamic vinegar4 potatoes washed, peeled and quartered8-10 cups water
Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and beef bouillon cubes and sprinkle over roast. Smother roast with flour and pat to absorb as much flour as you can. Heat skillet and add vegetable oil and brown roast on all sides. Move roast to crock pot. With skillet still hot, add onion and minced garlic until translucent. Stir in 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 balsamic and stir, loosening the scrapings off the bottom of the pan. Pour over roast in the crock pot. Add potatoes, and remaining water. Cook for 8 hours. Makes approximately 6 servings.
