Ingredients
Directions
1/2 cup frozen diced onion (ran out of fresh but that would work too)2 cloves garlic, chopped1 1/2 lbs ground turkey1 large tomato, diced1 egg1 slice whole wheat bread diced (the end piece is great for this)1 tsp basil1/2 tsp parsley1 tsp crushed red pepper1 tsp rosemary1/2 tsp oreganosea salt (I did about 3 grinds)dash of pepersauce:1/2 cup ketchup1 tbsp spicy brown mustard2 tbsp honey
Preheat to 350.
Mix everything but sauce in a medium bowl and put it in a loaf pan; get your hands right in there and be sure to wash thoroughly after. I didn't have a loaf pan so i used a small casserole dish, either one works fine.
Mix sauce in small bowl, then spread it evenly on top.
Bake uncovered until thoroughly cooked about 45 minutes to an hour. Drain the fat.
Cut into 6 slices.
