Ham Chowder

Ingredients
1/2 c. chopped celery1/2c. chopped onion2 Tbsp butter3 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. garlic powder1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. basil4 slices deli ham, sliced3 c. nonfat milk3/4 c. shredded cheese1 Tbsp. snipped cilantro
Directions
In a medium saucepan, cook celery, onion, and butter, until onion is soft. Stir in garlic powder. Stir in the flour, salt, and basil. Then add in the milk, stir and cook until mixture starts bubbling and thickens. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted. Garnish with the cilantro.

Serves 3.
