Spaghetti & Meatballs with a kick

3 28 oz cans Hunts Tomato sauce1 6 oz can Hunts tomato paste1 14 oz can diced tomatoes1 green pepper diced3 cloves garlic minced1 onion medium or small1 Tbsp dried basil1 tsp crushed red pepper2 whole bay leaves3 lbs 93% ground beef3 eggs1 Tbs pepper1/4 cup milk1/4 box saltines crused (1 whole package)3 Tbs oil or unlimited vegetable spray
In a large pot put 3 Tbs oil in. Add chopped green pepper, onion, and garlic over medium heat. While browning, open canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Once they are browned add that and basil, red pepper, and bay leaves. Lower heat to simmer. Meanwhile, in a large bowl add hamburg, saltines, pepper, milk, and eggs. Mix together. Form meatballs and drop into pot. Cover and cook stirring occasionally for 2 1/2 hours. About 40 minutes before it's done cook pasta in another large pot. Serve hot. serves ten
