Ingredients
1 lb extra lean ground beef1/2 cup uncooked rice1/2 cup water1/3 cup chopped oniondash of salt1 tsp celery salt15 oz can of tomatoe sauce1/3 tsp garlic powder1/4 can water2 T worstishire sauce1 green pepper seeded & chopped
Directions
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. combine first 6 ingredients. Make into meatballs. place in pan. combine the remaining ingredients. pour over meatballs. cover. cook 45 minutes covered. uncover and continue to cook an additional 15 mins

    I had to change a few things...like adding 2 eggs to the meat mixture so the meatballs wouldn't fall apart, for my own sanity. I also didn't have a green pepper, so that was omitted. Overall the recipe tasted great, but everyone at my table agreed it needed a bit more sauce. - 1/10/12
