Carrot Raison Bran Muffins

Ingredients
1 3/4 c Wheat Bran1/2 c whole wheat flour3/4 c all-purpose flour1/2 c sugar1 1/4 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp cinnamon2 egg whites3 tbsp no-sugar added maple flavored syrup (E.D. Smith)1/2 c raisins3/4 c grated carrot
Directions
Preheat over to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl blend all dry ingredients and set aside. Beat together eggs, milk and syrup. Add to dry ingredients and mix until moistened. Add carrots and raisins.

Use muffin papers and fill 2/3rds full. Bake for 20 minutes on center rack.

Makes 12 to 14 muffins.
