Jalahaba Chicken Chili

Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken1 medium stalk of celery, diced½ c diced green bell pepper1 medium onion, diced1 c beef or chicken broth2 medium garlic cloves, minced1 habenero pepper, diced1 jalapeno pepper, diced1 can condensed tomato soup (10 ¾ oz)1 can tomato paste (6 oz)1 can peeled diced tomatoes, with liquid (14.5 oz)1 can red kidney beans, with liquid (20 oz)1 can chili beans in medium sauce, with liquid (16 oz)1 tsp salt1 tsp oregano1 tsp cumin½ tsp freshly ground black pepper2 tbsp chili powderShredded sharp cheddar cheese and/or lowfat sour cream (optional)
Directions


Combine chicken, celery, bell pepper and onion in a large saucepan and brown over medium heat. Drain excess liquid. Return to stovetop and add garlic, habanero and jalapeno; cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 5-10 minutes. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
