Yum! Tastes great. On the long cooking time, it depends a lot on what type of apples you use. Mine only took 45 minutes. HOWEVER, it is a huge waste of electricity to have the oven going for even that long for just one small apple. Make it in multiples or use a toaster oven to save $$$. - 3/16/07

This was delicious! I did make it in multiples as suggested below, to feed family and guests, too. Served with lowfat soy ice cream and they were all SOLD! Keep in mind, oven temps range WIDELY and that can cause a huge difference in baking times. Oven thermometer can tell you if yours is off. - 7/31/08

This was absolutely amazing!!! You saved me from my cravings tonight. : ) I chunked the apples and microwaved them for a minute with 1 pkt of Sweet-n-low and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, then put them under the broiler with the graham cracker topping! My husband loves it as well! Will make it again! - 7/2/12

This was really good. I often have done "baked" apples but never used a graham cracker. To cut cooking time, microwave for a min. then pop under the broiler to finish it off. FF cool whip on the top. A few chopped up nuts is also good to mix in the filling but be careful not to add too many. - 3/23/12

I love baked apples and apple pie. I was a little skeptical of this recipe at first, but it was great! My daughter who was about to leave for college and never likes that isn't 'full fat' LOVED this and asked me to make it the night before she left for school. I'll be making this one often! - 9/18/07
