People are always amazed when I make this that they actually like it!! I make it with boneless skinless thighs... because it seems to do better in the crock pot. - 4/20/08

Made this on 10/4/2012. Substituted 'Savory Herb and Garlic' for the 'Onion Soup' mix. Chicken was very tender, served it over rice. - 10/5/12

Thank you for reminding me about this wonderful recipe! I used to
make this the fattening version, with an ENTIRE bottle of Kraft Russian salad dressing and as many chicken wings as would fit in the pan! This looks like a GREAT revision. I LOVE SP! - 2/24/13

Tried this, my husband liked it! As someone below mentioned, I think that next time I will try the savory herb and garlic instead of the onion soup mix as I dislike onions terribly - so I think that it might be even better with the the other! I might also add a bit of liquid. - 2/1/13

When I first ran into a similar recipe, the "sauce" was poured over browned chicken wings then baked. A yummy snack, hot or cold. I also added orange zest and some chopped oranges and, viola . . . orange chicken! - 1/20/11

I really like this!! I was a bit concerned because I didn't really care for how it smelled as it was cooking. Ut when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! - 12/4/10

Mine didn't turn out so well. The flavors didn't mesh well, and it was very dry. There is not enough liquid for the slow cooker I think. - 11/1/10
