This bread was moist, dense, chocolatey & delicious! I am a huge fan! I will be making this regularly! I substituted the 2 eggs w/ 1 egg, 2 egg whites; will use 3/4 cup choc. chips next time instead of 1 cup. Very close to Starbucks taste! - 8/4/10

    I really liked this.
I've tried with a few modifications:
    1. I switched the splenda and sugar - 1/2 cup splenda and 1/4 cup sugar; shaves off a few calories :)
    2. Changed the flour to 1cup white and 2/3 cup whole wheat

I made this with a few modifications. It was very good. I used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour, Splenda instead of regular sugar, and an extra teaspoon of vanilla. I did not measure the amount of banana, but used 2 medium sized bananas. We enjoyed it! - 8/9/10

Made this bread and had a blind taste test with four other banana breads. Of the four the only one to beat this out was a full on banana bread with real butter, etc. But this bread was a very close second and well worth the drop in fat and calories. We did substitute Reb A stivia for the splenda. - 8/9/10

This bread is so moist and delicious, it's hard to believe that it's low-fat! Tastes very similar to the Starbucks low-fat chocolate chip banana bread. My husband and kids love it, too! Thanks for the great recipe!! - 1/16/10

I substituted Stevia for the Splenda (because that's what I had) and followed the rest of the recipe exactly and it turned out fabulous! This is our new go-to recipe for banana bread. Very moist and delicious. Thanks! - 8/5/17

I used some flax meal, ww, coconut, almond, and oat flours instead of all purpose (added health bennies )...I added in some ff sour cream to fix flour dryness, and it is an AWESOME banana bread. Thank u so much...a new favorite. - 4/19/17

Unbelievable! It not only takes care of my chocolate craving, it overdoes it. Well, almost! I didn't have skim milk, so used Almond Milk and added cinnamon, bec. I had plain applesauce. I substituted the pan. I made 12 muffins - upped the caloric count by 50. Will be my go-to choco recipe! Thanx! - 1/18/15

I made this using Hershey's sugar free chocolate chips and walnuts, cut out the sugar and used 3/4 c. Of Stevia. The applesauce was also unsweetened. It made one small bread and 4 muffins. Delicious! - 8/16/13
