Spiced Chocolate Date Nut Brownie Muffins

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour¼ cup wheat germ½ cup flax meal ½ cup oatmeal1 cup cocoa1 cup protein powder(3scoops2 tsp baking powder2tsp baking sodaStevia powder to taste [about 4 individual packets]1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp nutmeg2 1/2 cups mixed fruit pulp or puree1 1/2 cups fruit juice3 tbsp vegetable oil2 tsp. vanilla extract1 cup walnuts
Directions
Makes 22 muffins ( 1 muffin per serving).

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray muffin tins with nonstick canola spray.

Mix all dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, blend wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Blend until you have a brownie-like batter. Add chopped walnuts.

Put about 1/4 cup batter per muffin cup. Shake to level batter. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool. Freezes well.
