Shannon's veggie Soup- with lentils

Ingredients
46oz V8 low sodium2.25 cups lentils(1 bag dry)1 28oz can Dei Fratelli crushed tomatoes1 4oz can hyvee green chillies1 12oz package frozen french style green beans1 12oz package broccoli slaw1 cups wateritalian seasoning to tastegarlic salt and pepper to tasteonion powder to taste
Directions
put lentils in pan with water bring to boil and simmer for 1-2 hours, drain and add all other ingredients and simmer until green beans, lentils and broccoli slaw tender.
Makes 17 one cup servings.

    Thanks let me know how you like it. I also add a bit of chili powder to it when I re-heat it as I like to add different seasonings depending on the mood I am in. I also like to cook up a serving of whole wheat pasta and put with it when I re-heat it so the pasta doesn't get soggy.
