creole black bean and sausage

Ingredients
1 smoked pork sausage1 green pepper, chopped1 medium union, chopped2 cans black beans1 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1/2 tsp dried thyme1 cup chicken broth
Directions
1. Cut sausage into small pieces
2. heat sausage on medium until warm -- no oil needed, the fat from the sausage is enough
3. add peppers, beans, onions and spices, cook until onions begin to become transleucent
4. add broth
5. cover and boil for 15 minutes
6. serve over rice
