Detroit-Style Coney Island Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef1/2 c. minced onions1 tsp. minced garlic5 tbsp. chili powder6 tbsp. ground cumin1 tsp. oregano1 tbsp. ground cinnamon8 oz. tomato sauce1/2 c. water
Directions
Makes 8 servings
Brown ground beef and onions together.
Add spices, water, and tomato sauce and bring to a boil.
Simmer chili for 30-45 minutes, or until water has evaporated. May use corn starch to thinken if some gravy is wanted.
