Banana Fritters

Ingredients
1 cup flour1 tablespoon sugar1 tablespoon sodium free baking powder1/2 cup skim milk1 egg1 tablespoon canola oil1 cup chopped banana1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
Stir together flour, sugar and baking powder. In a separate bowl combine milk, egg and oil, stir, then add banana and nutmeg. Stir into dry ingredients until just moistened. Drop by table spoonfuls into hot oil. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side untill golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Yeilds 4 servings.
