Mustard Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
3/4 cup honey1/2 cup yellow mustard1/4 cup white vinegar1/4 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
Comine the honey, mustard and vinegar in a heavy medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer the sauce over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until it is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Let the sauce cook comletely. Transfer the cooled barbecue sauce to a jar.

Sauce makes 1 1/2 cups; can be refrigerated for up to 1 month.
