Low Sodium Taco Seasoning- 1 pkg8 cups chopped iceberg lettuce1 1/2 chopped tomatoes1 medium green pepper, diced1 lb extra lean ground beef1 1/3 cups shredded cheeseSour CreamSalsa
Brown ground beef in non-stick pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Stir in 1 cup water, simmer for 7 minutes uncovered, or until all liquid is absorbed. Chop all veggies, then layer on each plate/bowl/ whatever, 2 cups lettuce, 1/4 of the tomatoe, green pepper, 1/3 cup cheese. Top with 1/4 of the beef filling (about 5 oz), Then top with tbsp of sour cream, and salsa (optional). May be served with low fat tortilla chips.
