2 Cups Rolled Oats3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar1/2 Cup Wheat Germ3/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon1 Cup All Purpose Flour3/4 Cup Raisins (optional)3/4 tsp Salt1/2 Cup Honey1 Egg, Beaten1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously Grease a 9x13 baking pan/dish.
In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients together, make a well in the middle and then pour the remaining ingredients in. Mix Well with HANDS. Pat the mixture evenly into prepared pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes in the preheated oven, just until the edges of the bars begin to turn golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes then cut bars while still warm. Do not allow bars to cool completely or they will be impossible to cut. 24 Servings.
