Amy's Easy Hummus

Ingredients
1 Can of Chickpeas drained (save liquid)1 tbsp Olive Oil1 packet of Tru Lemon or splash of lemon juice1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove of fresh garlicsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Put all the ingredients into a chopper or food processor. Add small amounts of the saved chickpeas liquid or water to get desired consistency.

Makes 8 - 1/4 cup portions.

    I liked this, but I also added a dash of cayenne pepper for a kick. And my mom, who says she doesn't like hummus, even said this tasted good. I also need to add a bit of water so it was more spreadable and less crumbly. - 10/25/10
