Cabbage and Noodles

1 large head lettuce2 Sticks (1 cup) Imperial margarine1 lb. large egg noodles
Chop cabbage into long strips about 3" long & 1/2 " wide. Melt the margarine in pan then add all of the cabbage. Cook cabbage for about 30 minutes or until brown and very tender. I use an electric fry pan at about 325 degrees. After cabbage is browned, add all of the semi- undercooked noodles. Reduce heat to low and let cook for another 10 minutes until the noodles absorb the cabbage and margarine. Make sure to stir the mixture together frequently.
Makes about 8 -1 cup servings.
