Ingredients
Directions
Egg, fresh, 4 large *Oscar Mayer Bacon, Lower Sodium, 4 serving Onions, raw, .3 cup, finely chopped Scallions, raw, 1 large, chopped fine*Kraft Natural Shredded Swiss Cheese, 4 serving (4ozs)Fat free half and half, 2 cupsPepper, red or cayenne, a pinch or a dash Pepper, black, 1 dash*Pillsbury Pie Crust (1/8 crust), 8 serving
Cut bacon in 3/4" -1 " pieces and fry till crisp, drain the fat on paper towel. Unroll the pie crust and press on to a 9" ( Pyrex glass - not the deeper one) pie pan following directions on the box. Sprinkle bacon over it along with scallions and onions. Mix the eggs, blend in the half and half. Sprinkle the peppers and pour into the pie crust. Bake in a 325 degrees pre-heated oven on a cookie pan lined with a square piece of foil for 45 minutes or so until a tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean. (I had to bake longer since ovens vary). Let sit 15 minutes before serving. Yum!
