Pan Dripping Gravy

Ingredients
2 tbsp drippings (in which meat has been sauteed)1 or 2 tbsp flour1 cup hot milksalt, pepper, herbs for seasoning
Directions
Add flour to pan dripping in pan. Stir the gravy with a wire whisk. Add 1 cup milk slowly until the gravy has the right consistency, cooking it slowly and stirring constantly. Sason the gravy with salt, pepper, minced herbs, grated lemon rind, etc. Color with a few drops of caramel (optional). Strain the gravy, reheat it, and serve it.
