Joy's Homemade ground beef and vegetable soup

Ingredients
1 pd ground chuck, browned and rinsed2/15 oz can crushed tomatoes5 med. potatoes cubed2 yellow onions (med) cut to your liking1/2 small head of shredded cabbage4 stalks celery sliced6 tbsp ketchup2 tbsp salt1 tbsp black pepper
Directions
Add all ingredients in large kettle with about 1/2 gal water. and cook on low heat until the vegetables are tender aprox. 45 minutes. Makes 15 regular soup bowl servings, which is 1 1/2 C each.
I make this on these cold snowy days here in KY. My family loves it. I use what ever vegetables are in the frig. when the mood hits for a home made soup.
