Chicken, Ham, and Navy Bean Stew

1 tbsp olive oil3 oz chicken breast in 1" pieces1 small hamsteakThe following chopped vegetables1 leek1 carrot1 parsnip1 cup okra1/2 cup celery14oz can of diced tomatoes1 cup cooked navy beans1 cup stock3tbsp of lowfat cream cheese1/8 tsp of chili powder, curry, thyme, paprikaSea salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash to taste
- Heat olive oil in the bottom of a large saucepan
- Brown the chicken pieces in the oil
- Add the ham and the chopped vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes until veggies are slightly tender
- add the beans, stock, and the canned tomatoes as well as the spices
- Let simmer for about 10 minutes
- Add the cream cheese and allow to melt and mix completely into the stew
- Serve and enjoy!
