French Bread

Ingredients
3/4 cup + 2 TBL water1 TBL oil1 tsp sugar3/4 tsp salt2 1/4 cups bread flour1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
Directions
Add ingredients in order listed to the bread machine pan.

Select French bread program and press start.

I like to use the dough cycle and finish baking it in the oven on a baker's stone. If you choose this method set the oven to 375 degrees and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
