green bean and artichoke casserole

1 lb. green beans (fresh or frozen)8 oz. jar artichoke hearts1/2 cup olive oil1 cup Italian bread crumbs1 cup grated Parmesan cheese6 cloves of garlicsalt and pepper to taste
Blanche the green beans until barely tender in a pot of boiling salted water. Medium-dice the artichokes.
Saute the onions and garlic in olive oil. Mix the green beans, bread crumbs, cheese, artichokes, and the oil, onions and garlic. Season liberally with black pepper; salt to taste.
Put mixture into 9x14 baking dish and sprinkle the top with additional bread crumbs and cheese. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes.
