Souper Meat and Potato pie

Ingredients
I can cream of Mushroom soup1 pound ground beef1/4 c chopped onion1 egg slightly beaten1/4 C. fine dry bread crumbs2 T. parsley1/4 t. saltdash pepper2 cups mashed potatoes1/2 C. shredded mild chedder cheesebacon for garnish
Directions
Mix thoroughly 1/2 soup, hamburger, onion, egg, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper. Press firmly in 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Spoon of fat. Top with potatoes, remaining soup and cheese. Bake 10 minutes more. Garnish with cooked bacon (if desired). Makes 1 nine inch pie
