Garbonzo Bean Pasta Salad

Ingredients
2 - 15 oz cans Garbonzo beans1/4 cup balsamic vinegar1 can dice tomatoes (drained well)1 medium red onion, diced4 red bell peppers, diced1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped4 cloves garlic, minced4 0z. fusilli pasta
Directions
Preheat broiler to 475 . Combine bell peppers, tomatoes, basil and garlic in a bowl. Spread mixture evenly over heavy large baking sheet which has been sprayed with vegetable spray. Broil until peppers are slightly softened, stirring occasionally, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Combine garbanzo beans, onions and vinegar in a bowl. Add the broiled tomatoe mixture and mix well.

Meanwhile, cook pasta, drain, add to above mixture and mix well. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight. Serve on bed on lettuce leaves.

Serves 5 - 2 cup portions for an entre. More if used for a side dish,
