Potato Leek Soup

2 tbsp butter2 medium leeks1/2 c onion2 med celery stalks3 cloves garlic6 potatoes1/2 c dry white wine1 can chicken broth4 c water2 chorizo links1/2 tsp lemon zest1 tsp red pepper flakes
In large saucepan melt butter over med heat. Add garlic, onions, leeks, and celery. Saute until tender
Pour in white wine and reduce by half. Add water, chicken stock, and sausage. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook about 20 minutes. Add potatoes and continue simmering for 40 minutes.
Remove sausage , using a food processeor blend/puree soup. Return to pot add sausage in pieces add lemon zest and red pepper flakes.
