Patio Steak with Mushrooms & Onions

Ingredients
cooking spraysea salt2/3 lb boneless top blade steak or patio steak or flat iron steak, cut into serving size pieces1/2 cup sliced onions4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, well drained1/4 cup fat free 50% less sodium beef broth2 tablespoons water1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions
1. Season meat with salt.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
3. Coat with spray oil and add beef.
4. Brown beef on both sides.
5. Remove beef from skillet; set aside.
6. Add onions and mushrooms.
7. Saute onions, and mushrooms about 3 mins.
8. Add beef broth to skillet.
9. Return beef to skillet and bring to a boil.
10. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 45 mins. or until beef is tender.
11. Remove beef to a serving platter.
12. Mix together water and cornstarch and add to skillet.
13. Stir constantly until gravy is thickened.
14. Pour gravy over meat and serve.
