2 cups dahl1 cup diced pumpkin1 diced medium potato3-4 cups stockcurry paste (korma)2 cloves garlic2 tsp mustard seeds1 tbsp vegetable oil
heat through curry paste (or mix own: 2tsp each of turmeric, cumin, corriander seed, cardamon seeds, cruchsed or fresh chopped curry seeds), add garlic and mustard seeds (put on lid as seeds pop), add soaked and drained dahl (soak dahl in boiling water for 10 minutes or a couple of hours in cold water) and potato/pupkin, add stock and cook until potato dissolved, dahl thickened. should take about 40 minutes, check water levels and adjust as needed. finish with fresh corriander.
