I substituted all whole wheat flour (not all purpose on hand), and I used unsweetened soy milk and unsweetened applesauce. Delicious! I'll definitely make this again! - 3/23/08

These pancakes were off the hook. I prefer these to anything I have ever had before. It feels great to feed my family whole grain unprocessed food! LOVE IT! - 2/7/10

very tasty. i added 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries before cooking, used egg substitute, and skim milk. delicious with a squirt of "i can't believe it's not butter" spray. i didn't even use syrup! - 3/13/10

This recipe was great! I doubled the recipe. I used 1 3/4c white ww since I was out of ww, then 1/4c wheat germ and a T of ground flax. I used two whole eggs, added nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Instead of milk I used Kefir but used probably closer to 2 cups for a thinner batter. I got 20 pancakes. - 8/14/10

These were delicious! I added some blueberries to mine and topped with homemade blueberry syrup. I fixed them for family and they were a hit! Perfectly fluffy and great balance of sweetness. I used a 1/4 cup and only got 8 pancakes, not 10 though. Thanks for a great recipe! - 8/3/11

OMG! I love pancakes and these are the best because they're not only very tasty, but they're healthy! I added a teaspoon of cinnamon and 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract. They were big, thick and yummy. Two with a little egg white casserole filled me up for hours. My new fave breakfast! - 4/21/13

These were very good! I expected them to be pretty 'dense' but they were actually quite light and fluffy. They do taste kind of bland, so adding cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or vanilla is a good choice. Otherwise serving them w/ fruit compote is a good option as well. Overall, excellent recipe! - 8/15/10

I need to have gluten free and these, though looking good, would not be easy to convert to GF. - 12/3/20

These turned out so good. I used almond milk and dried egg whites, otherwise made the exact recipe. This will be my go-to pancake recipe, thanks! - 1/18/19
