Cream of sweet potato soup

Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes or 1 lb 4 cups chicken broth4 cups water6 tbsp butter 1/2 cup tomato sauce 3 tbsp half and half 1 tsp salt1/8 tsp pepper2 tbsp dried thyme1/4 cup canned pimiento1 jalapeno pepper diced 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley2 tsp chili powder 2 tsp basil 2 tsp oregano1 garlic clove minced 2 tsp ground cuminpinch of cayenne pepper
Directions
Wash and bake the sweet potatoes at 350 for 45min - 1 hour till soft. Allow to cool. Once cool, remove skin and mash.

add rest of ingredients to pot with potatoes over medium heat, once boiling, bring to simmer and simmer for 60 minutes until soup begins to thicken some.
