Irish farls soda bread

Ingredients
2 cups of flour1.25 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt 1 cup low fat butter milk
Directions
heat a 9 inch cast iron pan on med low heat flour it
sift flour, soda and salt together
make a well and add butter milk
mix until dough makes a ball
flour a board
kneed dough 2-3 times make into a cake the size of pan
cook until browned about 20 mins per side
cut into quarters (farls) and stand on edge in pan to brown the cut side
wrap in tea towel until ready to enjoy (helps to wick the soda taste out)

    I think I overcooked them - got very crusty. Looked at a U-Tube video and think maybe they were on too high and I didn't know how to adjust the cooking time. 2nd try - I cooked on medium for @ 5 min /side, came out really well!! - 6/12/14
