Classic No Bake Cookies (Gluten Free)

Ingredients
2 Cups Sugar1/2 Cup Cocoa1 Stick of Butter1/2 Cup Milk1 tsp. Vanilla3 Cups Quick-Cooking Oats (Gluten-Free)1/2 Cup Peanut Butter (Optional)
Directions
Combined Sugar, Cocoa,Butter and Milk in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Let boil for 1 minute and remove from heat.

Add Peanut Butter, Vanilla and Oatmeal

Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper and let sit for at least 30 minutes

    Excellent! I subbed 1 c of Quinoa flakes, the sugar for 1.5 cups of erythritol and .5 cups of agave syrup... added 1/2 c coconut... and used sunflower butter instead of peanut butter so they can go to school! and 1/4 c of chia seeds (for fiber)... I also accidentally forgot the milk. Still great! - 4/17/11

    I LOVE these cookies. My Mom made these for us all the time growing up. We had them with and without peanut butter. I can remember my Grandma and Great Grandma making them as well. Ah, great family times!
