Quick Tuscan Bean, Tomato and Spinach Soup

1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained1 onion, diced2 pk oxo chicken broth, low sodium14 oz water1 tsp sugar2 tsp dried basil3/4 tsp soy sauce, low sodium1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained3 oz fresh baby spinach or chopped spinach leaves
Mix oxo packages with 14 oz water (warm water works best). Combine tomatoes, onion, oxo broth, sugar, basil and soy sauce in a large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Stir in drained beans and spinach and cook 5 minutes longer or until spinach is tender.
Remove from heat. Serve.
