Ingredients
Directions
2 cans crescent rolls2 medium Granny Smith apples.25 C salted butter (or unsalted; this is just what I had on hand)1 t ground cinnamon16 oz Sprite
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice apples into 8 wedges each. Melt butter in a skillet, pour some in a 9"x13" pan to grease it, and then mix the cinnamon and Sprite in with the rest of the butter in the skillet. Now unroll all the crescent rolls and roll up an apple slice in each roll, starting from the wider end. Place each rolled apple in the 9"x13" pan. Pour Sprite-butter-cinnamon mixture over all, and bake 30-45 minutes. Top will brown slightly. Enjoy! I calculated the serving size to be two crescent rolls per person, but if you serve only one per person, it will greatly decrease the calories!

Little to high in calories, and fat content is way over the scale. Is this for one serving or 8? - 4/15/10

I know the calories and fat are ridiculous; that's why I made the disclaimer in the recipe description. I posted the recipe because I figured someone else, like me, might have extra Sprite to use up. Feel free to not make this if you're not willing to budget the calories and fat!
