Ingredients
3 cloves of garlic, peeled2 medium carrots, chopped1 10 oz. package white button mushrooms1 large onion, chopped1/2 tsp. dried thyme, (add more if you like)1 TBS dried parsley1 pound lean ground turkey3/4 tsp saltdash pepper2 C water1 - 14 oz can reduced sodium beef broth8 oz Dreamfields elbow macaroni2 TBS worcestershire sauce2 TBS flour1/2 C reduced fat sour cream
Directions
In a food processor add garlic carrots and mushrooms. Process until finely chopped. Add onion and pulse until roughly chopped. Cook turkey in a skillet until no longer pink, about 3-5 minutes. Add vegetables, thyme, salt and pepper and cook 5-7 minutes, stirring often. Stir in water, 11/2 C broth, noodles, and worcestershire sauce. Cover and reduce heat to medium and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a bowl, whisk flour and remaining 1/4 C broth together, and add to skillet along with sour cream. Cook until thickened about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives. Makes 6 servings at about 1 1/3 C each.

    I used low salt broth for the water and omitted the salt which gave it more flavor. I also omitted the sour cream as my daughter has a dairy allergy. - 5/18/12

    I did a search to see if I could find the nutrition info. with it made with turkey and found it, :) We all enjoyed it a lot for dinner. I had no thyme and used Italian spice mix and plain low fat greek yogurt as I had no sour cream. - 3/14/11

    I agree with both - pretty bland, even with extra spices and garlic. But I added extra vegetables and used whole grain rotini, so it's nice well-rounded meal anyway. Warms up well for leftovers, especially with some hot sauce. - 10/30/10

    very bland, and i even added extra garlic, more salt and pepper, and chopped celery. neither of my kids would it it... not terrible, i will eat the leftovers, but won't make it again - 5/11/10
