I love it. I skipped the lemon juice and used low fat sour cream. I used Mrs. Dash instead of pepper and salt and well my son loves it. I love the fact I can control the kick to the hummus. I love hummus but the kick or the bite got to me after a while. I will be making this again. Thank you - 3/11/10

I added an extra clove of garlic and cut the lemon juice in half and used yogurt instead of sour cream (as suggested byothers) and it turned out delicious. I also added paprika to spice it up a bit. - 5/12/08

This was very good! I did use about 1 1/2 lemons worth of juice, but that's how we prefer it. Thanks for sharing this! - 5/15/10

Omigosh this is GREAT! (I added one more TBS of light sour cream. Had it with the new All Bran Garlic Herb Crackers. FANTASTIC MEDLEY OF FLAVORS! - 1/6/08

I tried it with sesame oil instead of olive oil, it was ok but I think I'll use all olive oil next time. Nice flavor and consistency. Thanks for the recipe! - 5/27/10

I'm so glad I tried this. It will save me so much money & the taste is absolutely great. I tried to eat up the store bought hummus after & I couldn't stand the taste of it I had to throw it out. I added more garlic. - 3/23/10

I used navy beans instead of garbanzos and added basil instead of cumin. Really good. I think the sour cream is the essential ingredient. Next time I'll try it with the garbanzos. - 3/15/10

I've made this several times & LOVE IT! I up the garlic to 3-4 cloves & mince it. I use a potato masher & like the chunky texture I end up with but a blender would make it smoother. I also sub sesame oil for the evoo & only use 1-1/2 tsp. So inexpensive & DELISH - no more store-bought hummus for me! - 7/27/09

This is a great recipe! Quick, easy, cheap & tasty! My whole family enjoyed this. I added some hot pepper flakes & a little hot sauce. But I imagine you could get pretty creative with this one! - 4/24/10

I left out the olive oil and it was really good. Cuts down on the calories as well. Good recipe and easy! - 3/13/10

I used 2 lemons and added 1 half tlbs. of sesame seed oil!
It came out awesome! I also used only a pinch of Kosher salt, no pepper and about 1/4 tsp. of ground cumin. - 2/20/10

I call this YUMMUS! REALLY GOOD! I've made this several times. I did not have lemon so I used lime and some fresh cilantro, cumin, and a few shakes of red pepper flakes. Or I've done artichoke hearts, lemon, fresh dill in it--------- Great with celery or crackers. - 1/31/10

I used FF Sour Cream and the recipe was delicious. This is going to be one of the dips for New Years Eve at our house. - 12/28/09

The best hummus I've made so far. I did add extra garlic and used cumin cause I love the flavor. Thanks for a great light, easy to make recipe. Will be making this many times. - 9/21/09

So good - I sprinkled a bit of cayenne in it for some more kick and and an extra clove of garlic. But adding in the sour cream was great! I ran everything through my blender and it is quick, easy, and much, much cheaper than store bought hummus. - 3/8/09

I used a bit more olive oil, because I wanted it more creamy. My picky dh even liked it. - 6/15/08

I made this with Fat Free Yogurt instead and it was great. I didn't have any cumin but it was still good. - 2/26/08

Excellent! I was looking for a way to like hummus and this has definitely helped! I used less sour cream than called for but it was enough to let my mouth like it! - 1/29/08

I made this for company, they loved it. I only used half the garlic and added some fresh parsley to freshen it. I also substituted soy cream cheese for the sour cream to keep it dairy free. SO YUMMY! Next time I will add fresh lemon w/ zest! I'll make this often! - 1/7/08
