Fettuccine with Rockin Red Clam Sauce

Snows chopped clams 6.5 oz can (drained)Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added 14.5 oz can1/2 small onion4 cloves of garlic minced1 tsp basil1 tsp oregano.5 tsp crushed red pepper ( or more to taste)Hodgson mill wheat fettuccine 4 oz1 tsp olive oil
Start a pot of boiling water for pasta. Pour oil in a skillet and add onion and garlic until onion becomes translucent. Add clams and saute for two minutes until liquid is evaporated. Add can of tomatoes and spices mix well and let simmer approx 15 minutes until thickened.
Add pasta to boiling water and cook until tender. Drain pasta and add to tomato mixture.
**Sprinkle with parmasean cheese if desired calories not included in nutritional information.
