4 cubed steaks (1 1/2 lbs)1 packet sausage gravy mix (2 1/2 oz)1 (12oz) can lowfat evaporated milk1 cup water3 tablespoons canola oil1/4 cup flour1/2 cup egg substitute2/3 cup plain bread crumbs
This recipe makes 4 servings.
1) put flour, egg and breadcrumbs into 3 seprate shallow dishes.
2)heat a large pan on medium heat for 1-2 minutes, add oil.
3)cover each steak in flour, shake off gently, dip in eggs let excess drip off, then dredge in the bread crumbs.
4)place steaks into pan and cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5) remove from pan and keep warm.
6)stir in the gravy mix and gradually add milk and water, stir continually until gravy is smooth, reduce heat and cook on low cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until hot.
7) serve gravy over steaks.. enjoy
