Turkey Taco Soup

1 lb. ground turkey1 med. onion, chopped1 sm. bell pepper, chopped1 packet taco seasoning1 (15oz) can pinto beans1 cup salsa1 (8oz) can tomato sauce2 c. watertortilla chips1/2 c. shredded cheddar
Cook turkey, onion and bell pepper in a medium pot or Dutch Oven, stirring, til turkey is brown and crumbly. Add taco seasoning, beans, salsa, tomato sauce and water to turkey mixture. Bring soup to a boil over med-high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to med-low and allow soup to simmer for 30 minutes.
Ladle soup into bowls and top with crushed chips and sprinkle with cheddar.
