Healthy Whole Wheat Dark Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies!!! No Fat!!

Ingredients
2 cups quick cook rolled oats3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 cup lightly packed brown sugar1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce1/4 cup buttermilk (I buy the powdered buttermilk from Bulk Barn and just make as much as I need for whatever recipe I'm making at the time... regular milk works as well though if you don't have this)1 tsp pure vanilla extract1 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients well. Blend all wet ingredients in blender for 1-2 mins and then add the dry ingredients until just moist. Bake at 325 degrees farenheight for about 11 minutes. Do not overbake! Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before trying to remove from pan.

    Not like your run of the mill chocolate chip cookie, , but I thought these were great. And addictive, so beware! The consistency is kind of like a haystack cookie. And I used dark choc chips - very rich and indulgent! Next time I'm going to try Splenda brown sugar and see how they turn out. - 1/8/13

    These are so addicting!!!!! The dough is a little dry before they are baked, but after they come out of the oven, they're suuper moist and so delicious!! -- and ridiculously healthy! I used dark chocolate nestle morsels and added an extra 1/4 cup...I'm deff making them again.:)) - 1/2/12
