Steak Pizzaiola

Ingredients
1 yellow onion16 oz top sirlion (1/8 in. cut)1 tbsp bertolli classico olive oil1/8 tsp red chili pepper flakes, crushed1/4 cp beef broth, reduced sodium2 cps bertolli organic olive oil basil and garlic sauce1/4 cp mazzarella part skim cheese, shredded
Directions
4 Servings

Cut beef into 4 steaks. Thinly slice the onion. Season steaks, if desired,with ground black pepper. In 12 in skillet, heat 1 tbsp Olive oil over med-hi heat and cook steaks, turning once, 4 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove steaks and set aside. In same skillet, add remaining tsp of oil and cook onion, stirring occasionally for 3 mins. Add pepper flakes and broth. Cook 1 min then add sauce. Cook stirring occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened. Return steaks and juices to skillet and top steaks with cheese. Simmer covered 2 mins and serve hot.
