Pasta with tomato-clam sauce

Ingredients
Whole Wheat Pasta, 2 servingCooking Spray, Olive Oil,1 serving (remove)Onions, raw, 1/2 medium choppedGarlic, 5 clove finely choppedRed Ripe Tomatoes, 6 medium , choppedWhite Wine, 1.6 fl oz (3 Tbsp.)1 can clams, whole baby, Geisha (drained but reserve 1/4 c. liquid)Kale, 1 cup, chopped Parsley, fresh 2 Tbsp.Capers, canned, 1 tbsp w/ liquid
Directions
- Cook pasta according to directions
- Soften onions and garlic in a pan coated with cooking spray
- Add white wine and sizzle onions, etc. in wine for a minute
- Add chopped tomatoes and simmer on medium-high until tomatoes are soft
- Add drained clams, kale and parsley
- Simmer on medium for 5 minutes and remove from heat
- Add capers and mix well
- Toss with pasta and serve topped with 1/2 oz. grated parmesan per bowl.
