Ingredients
3 cups Whole Wheat Flour 4 Eggs, lightly beaten1 cup milk1 tsp salt
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until smooth. Transfer a few tablespoons at a time to a comander with large holes set over a large pot of boiling water and press the batter through the holes. Stir gently to prevent noodles from sticking together and boil until tender, 6-8 min. Drain thoroughly. Serve immediately, or reheat in a warm skillet immediately prior to serving.

You can mix anything with the noodles you would add to normal pasta.

There is an easier way in preparing this recipe if you use a "Spaetzlehobel" instead of a colander! I hope this helps! - 9/13/07

I live in Germany years ago when my DH was in the Army. I am looking for a recipe for a pastry that was made with Hazel nuts. This pastry was in a triangle shape. We lived in the Hessen Area, near Frankfurt Germany. I have never been able to find a recipe like this ! - 9/14/11
