Syd's Cuban-style Black Beans (Vegan)

Ingredients
1 cab black beans, drained and rinsed2 T pimentos, drained1 green pepper, chopped1 med. onion, chopped1 T olive oil1 tsp vinegar1/2 tsp salt1 tsp sugar1/4 tsp pepper2 cloves garlic1 cup tomato sauce
Directions
Saute green peppers, garlic and onion in olive oil until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer half hour. Serve over rice.
