These were good...but abit sweet next time I would adjust the sugars...to 1/8 each. Great way to get the fibre! - 10/17/11

I substituted apple cider for the sugar & buttermilk. Not sweet enough. Might try prune juice and/ or half the sugar. I added walnuts to the second half batch. Will not waste - might make some triffle. Pudding and whipped cream can fix anything! ;-D Black Forest should do! :-D - 2/20/11

I liked the muffins but mine were a little bland. It may have been my fault because I think I forgot to add cinnamon. OOPS! Anyways, I still like them. They had a good texture and everything. I'll probably make them again but add the cinnamon. - 5/20/10

Simply the best bran muffins I have ever had ... was not big on bran muffins until I found this recipe, now this will be part of my sunday prep for the week !! I used (baking & brown sugar blend) in lieu of real sugar and used all whole wheat flour for the added benefit and they turned out perfect ! - 4/8/10

A GOOD BRAN MUFFIN. I will definitively make these again. Considering the contents (Bran will always be Bran) they are quite good. Easy and fast to make. I had to leave mine 20 mins in oven for toothpick to come out clean. I DO recomend them. Froze them but were gone in 3 days! - 5/11/07

I liked the muffins but my kids did not care for them... probably because they are fairly bland and you can taste the wheat in them... I thought they were tasty and knowing they're healthy is a definite plus!!! - 3/28/07
