VT's Whole Wheat Shells with Green Vegetables and Feta

1 lb. asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces12 oz. whole wheat pasta shells1 1/2 cups baby peas (fresh or frozen)1 tbsp. garlic-infused olive oil3 scallions, thinly sliced1 cup fresh basil, chiffonaded1/2 cup coarsely chopped mint leaves1 tbsp. lemon zest3 oz. crumbled feta
1.) Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add asparagus and cook 4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove asparagus to a serving bowl with a slotted spoon.
2.) Add pasta to boiling water, cook 8 minutes. Add peas, return water to a boil, and cook another 3 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup cooking water, then drain the pasta and peas. Return to pot, add cooking water, asparagus, oil, onions, herb, and lemon zest.
3.) Transfer to serving bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with feta cheese and enjoy!
Makes 6, 1 1/2 cup servings.
